Sanatorium "Koktem" is located in the picturesque foothill gorge of the Zailiyskiy Alatau at an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level. Clean ionized air, beautiful mountainous landscape and a successful combination of climatological possibilities with natural mineral water, give excellent treatment results and make the health resort attractive at any time of the year - in winter and summer, in autumn and spring. The sanatorium has its own source of mineral water, taken out in 1990 on its territory from deep aquifers (2350 meters).
